SHOP TYCOON

Start with a lemon tree. Finish with a Grand Estate.

An idle tycoon where your business is somewhere you stand. Pick the lemons, run the juicer, stock the stand and hire the crew who keep it selling while you're away. Then drive out to nineteen more food businesses, each bigger than the last.

How it plays

Your business is somewhere you stand

Every tycoon starts small. Yours starts with one lemon tree, a juicer and a folding stand on Lemonade Lane. There is no tutorial level. You learn in the real district, one step at a time, with an arrow showing the way.

Lemonade Lane: lemon trees, the juicer and the lemonade stand with a queue of customers
+$25
  1. 👆

    01Drag anywhere to walk

No joystick. Where you touch becomes the centre, and how far you drag is how fast you walk.

  2. 🍋

    02Pick the lemons

Walk past a tree to harvest it. Lemons ride on your back in crates, and the trees grow back.

  3. 🧃

    03Run the juicer

Two lemons make a cup, and the juicer fills trays of three. Carry them to the stand and stock it.

  4. 🧑‍🤝‍🧑

    04Serve the queue

Customers line up and buy, $25 a cup. Stand close by and Rush Hour kicks in: twice the customers.

  5. 💵

    05Collect the cash

Every sale lands in a pile of banknotes beside the stand. Walk over and tap COLLECT.

  6. ⬆️

    06Upgrade, hire, expand

Walk onto a pad right where the upgrade will appear and tap UPGRADE or HIRE. Then open the Hot Dog Plaza, and keep going.

Nothing teleportsEvery lemon, tray and banknote travels a path you can see.
The world stays on screenYou play in the district itself, not in menus laid over it.
The journey

Twenty stages. Five eras.

Every stage is its own site with its own building, its own product and its own crew. Once you've earned it, you drive out to it. Finish a stage at 100% to open the next one. And because nothing teleports, every item and every banknote travels a path you can see.

👥 Your crew

Hire a team that keeps working

From Burger Boulevard on, every stage has five roles to fill. Once a stage is staffed, it keeps selling while the app is closed.

1

Supplier

Fetches the supplies the delivery trucks drop.

2

Cook

Works the station and never leaves it.

3

Runner

Carries finished food to the counter.

4

Cashier

Serves the queue, but never banks the cash. The cash pile is always a reason to walk back.

5

Manager +15%

Keeps it moving: +15% production.

Free to play, fair to play

No ads during play. Nothing plays while you're running your empire.

Food Empire home screen ✓ No ads during play

How ads work

  • No ads during play. Nothing plays while you're running your empire.
  • A small banner on the menu screens. One strip at the top of the home, dashboard, profile and settings screens, and only after the tutorial. Never on the play screen.
  • Rewarded ads are always optional. Watch one for a bonus, like double away earnings, Happy Hour (+50% on every sale for 10 minutes of play), a VIP Bus of guests who pay three times the price, or a rush delivery. Or skip it.
  • One break you don't choose. A single full-screen ad on your way back to the home screen, at most once every 10 minutes and never in your first 5 minutes.
  • Remove Ads, once. A one-time purchase removes the banner and that break for good. Rewarded ads stay, and stay optional. The Supporter Pack and Ad-Free Plus remove them too, and Ad-Free Plus and the Skip Pass give every reward without the video, up to 12 a day.
  • Boosts you keep. VIP Guests, Golden Kitchen, Double Income, the Promoter, Night Manager and the VIP Card are optional one-time purchases that stay on your Google Play account, through a reset or a franchise. Boosts add together, and nothing is random.
  • A Season Pass, for one season. Every season has free rewards for everyone. An optional pass for that season, bought once, adds a premium track. You earn the tiers by playing, every reward is shown before you buy, and none of it is random.
  • A kit of your own, looks only. The Striker Kit is an optional one-time purchase: a football kit for your character with your own name and number, in invented club colours. More club colours are sold one at a time. It changes how you look and nothing else, and your name and number stay on your phone.
  • The VIP Club, weekly. An optional weekly subscription: a daily claim, up to 12 hours of earnings while you are away and no ads while you are a member. It renews every week until you cancel it in Google Play, and the looks you earn stay yours.

What we don't do

  • Premium currency
  • Loot boxes
  • Random rewards in a pass

❓ FAQ

Questions, answered

Is it free?

Yes. Food Empire is free to play and supported by ads. A one-time Remove Ads purchase removes the two you don't choose: the small banner on the menu screens and the break on your way back to the home screen. Rewarded ads stay optional. Everything else in the Shop is optional too: cash crates, boosts you buy once and keep, passes that give a video's reward without the video, a pass for each season, and an optional weekly VIP Club subscription that you can cancel any time in Google Play. The Terms of Sale say exactly what each one does.

Does it work offline?

Yes, fully. You can play the whole game without a connection. A connection is only used for ads and, if you sign in with Google, to back up your empire.

Which phones does it run on?

Android 7.0 or newer, with about 400 MB free. 4 GB of RAM is the minimum; 6 GB or more is comfortable. The game plays in portrait.

Can I move my progress to a new phone?

Yes. On your old phone, open Profile → Cloud save and sign in with Google. On the new phone, install the game, sign in with the same Google account and choose to keep the empire from your account.

I played the old Food Empire. What happens?

The game was rebuilt from the ground up, so old progress can't carry over. As a thank-you, previous players get the Founding Chef title and $500 starter cash.

How do I contact you?
