Food Empire lets you sign in so that your empire is backed up and can move between phones. Signing in is optional; most players never do it, and the game is complete without it.
If you did sign in, this page explains how to delete that account and everything stored in it — including if you have already uninstalled the game.
If you still have the game installed
This is the quickest way and it takes effect immediately.
- Open Food Empire.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Cloud save.
- Under Data, tap Delete account, read what will and will not be removed, tick I understand my account and its cloud save will be deleted permanently, and tap DELETE MY ACCOUNT.
Delete account is shown while you are signed in. If you have signed out, sign back in with the same Google account first, or use the email route below.
Your account and its cloud save are deleted there and then. You can keep playing straight afterwards — see what is not deleted below.
If you have already uninstalled the game
You do not need to reinstall anything. Email info@stackryx.co.uk from the email address you signed in with, with the subject Food Empire account deletion.
We use the address you send from to find the account, which is why the request has to come from it — we have no other way to tell which account is yours, and deleting somebody else's empire on the strength of an email would be worse than a slow reply.
We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account and the sign-in attached to it (the Google account you signed in with).
- The name, email address and account ID that Google sign-in gave us.
- The copy of your empire stored in that account, with its empire score, play time, device ID and save times. That includes any cash you bought that is in it, and the game's record of your purchases (purchase tokens, Google Play order numbers, items, cash delivered and times).
- Any archived copy of a save kept from a previous conflict — the game keeps the one you did not choose, so that a wrong answer can be undone, and those go too.
None of it is recoverable afterwards. There is no grace period and no backup we can restore from, which is the point.
What is not deleted
- The empire on your phone, if you still have the game installed. It stays exactly as it is and you can carry on playing. To remove that as well, use Settings → Reset progress in the game, or uninstall it. They are two separate things on purpose: deleting an account should not destroy a game you are in the middle of.
- Your name, avatar and record on your phone, for the same reason.
- One-time purchases: Remove ads, the Starter Pack's Gold awning, and the items you keep (VIP Guests, Golden Kitchen, Double Income, the Promoter, Night Manager, the VIP Card, Ad-Free Plus, the Skip Pass, the Striker Kit and each club's Kit Colours, and the Supporter Pack's and Supporter Extras' no-ads and gold name tag). They belong to your Google Play account, not to your Food Empire account, and nothing on this page touches them. If you reinstall the game and restore purchases, they come back. Cash you bought is different: it is part of your empire, so it stays in the empire on your phone and goes with the copy in your account. Google Play keeps its own record of what you paid for; that is Google's, not ours.
- A Season Pass and the VIP Club. A season's pass belongs to your Google Play account like the items you keep. The VIP Club is a subscription that Google Play bills and manages, so deleting your Food Empire account, or the game, does not cancel it. Cancel it in Google Play (Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions), or with Manage subscription on the game's VIP Club page, before or after you delete your account. Until you do, Google Play keeps charging you each week. Your season progress and the club's status are kept on your phone only, not in your cloud account.
- Advertising and analytics data held by Google. That is not held by us and is not tied to your Food Empire account. It is controlled through Google's own settings, and the privacy policy explains where.
What we hold, and for how long
| What | Why | Kept until |
|---|---|---|
| An account identifier | So your save has an owner | You delete the account |
| The name and email address on your Google account | So the game can tell you which account you are signed in as | You delete the account |
| Your saved empire (including its record of your purchases), its empire score and play time, a random ID for your device, and the time of each save | The backup itself | You delete the account |
| An archived save from a conflict | So a wrong answer to "which save do I keep" can be undone | You delete the account |
We do not sell personal data, and none of the above is used for advertising.
